This wonderfully colored kids sweater is worked in panels with only two short seams to sew at the shoulders. The Front and Back start with a center panel worked from the bottom edge up to the neck and the stitches are placed on hold. The two side panels for each piece are then picked up along the long edges of the center panels and worked outward. The side seams are finished with a three needle bind off and the sleeve stitches are waiting to be picked up and worked down to the wrist. Add a bottom band and a rolled collar and your sweater is done!

META'S FOUR PANEL SWEATER
This sweater is knit in panels and with no sewn seams! First two center panels are knit from the bottom up, one for the front and one for the back. Stitches are then picked up along the long edges of the center panels with stitches cast on for the side neck/shoulder and the knitting progresses outward. The seams are finished with a three needle bind off and the sleeve stitches are waiting to be picked up and worked in the round to the cuff.
