Cynthias Fine Yarn & Gifts is like walking into Disneyland for knitters. At first you are overwhelmed by the colors, yarn choices, great gift ideas, beautiful garden and trying to reconcile all this in such a small space in a small town.. but it works.
As the eye wanders from room to room, it is like taking a vacation in a knitting fairyland. One has only to walk around and take in the smells, sights and touch the yarns to feel the magic.
The owner, Cynthia, and her daughter Jamie couldn't be more helpful and knowledgable about patterns, yarns and what is the latest in the fiber world.
And on top of all this, Cynthias manages to hold the best retreats in Michigan, bringing in published knitters.Not only are the retreats informative and a great learning experience, there is all kinds of fun mixed in including games, prizes, candy and wonderful lunches and treats. All this in a beautiful northern Michigan setting. What could be better?
