The last of the retreat is Lucy........Cat feels she's the Elizabeth Zimmerman of our time!
The twist of course is something I've added for fun to the Lucy Night! These things come to my mind of course after I've typed, printed, mailed and emailed hundreds.
The TWIST..........On Saturday October 18th in the evening from 7 pm to 9 pm with be a
"Lucy Sox Hop"
You say what in the world is that! Well its a 50's thing...I have a rep coming to tell you all about a wonderful HOT SOX Contest going on that you can win big. She will bring her yarns to show, an Einstein Coat, and other fine things she has to show off. She travels all over the mid-west in every yarn store there is. During this time you will hear the 50's songs, dance for a door prize to the "Twist" of course what else? Sit and Knit. Enjoy Ice Cream, hum yummy. Then the entrance fee is what you wear. You need to come with your 1950's garments on or hair done up. Your hot socks must show, so roll up your pant legs or wear a skirt. Those of you who have knitted the Lucy Bag bring it in. You will also vote on who has the best Lucy Bag for a gift and who has the hottest socks for a gift! If you want to just attend of course we'll let you in, but before you leave you'll have to roll your pant legs up!
